(Sports Network) - The Edmonton Oilers seek their third straight win tonight when they visit the Vancouver Canucks at GM Place in the opener of a home-and- home.

Since a loss to rival Calgary the Oilers have toppled San Jose and Colorado. On Saturday, Petr Sykora and Ryan Smyth each scored twice as Edmonton edged the Avalanche, 4-3, in Denver.

Dwayne Roloson was stellar in net, stopping 39 shots to pick up his 100th win.

Sykora's second goal, with 15:39 left in the match, held up as the game- winner.

Smyth checks in with five goals and seven points. Sykora is the club's co- scoring leader, also with seven points.

Edmonton will host the Canucks on Tuesday.

Vancouver, meanwhile, has lost three straight games after winning the first two of the season. On Friday the Canucks dropped a 6-4 tilt to visiting San Jose, as Curtis Brown's shorthanded breakaway goal in the third period proved to be the game-winner.
