SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. (CP) - Zack Smith scored twice and Kyle Moir stopped 32 shots to lead the Swift Current Broncos to a 4-2 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings in WHL action Wednesday.
Smith's first goal 29 seconds into the second period gave the Broncos a 2-1 lead. He added his second goal two-and-a-half minutes later as Swift Current (12-11-1-0) won its second straight to vault into first place in the East Division. Spencer McAvoy and Dane Crowley added singles while Brady Leavold chipped in with three assists for the Broncos.
