(Sports Network) - Two teams on opposite ends of the Northeast Division standings meet tonight in Ottawa, as the Senators host the Buffalo Sabres at Scotiabank Place.

The Sabres lead the Northeast Division and the NHL with 33 points. Ottawa is currently last in the division with 15 points.

Buffalo hosted Pittsburgh on Friday and posted a 4-2 victory over the Penguins. Maxim Afinogenov, playing in his first game in nearly two weeks, scored once and had an assist to pace the Sabres.

Afinogenov hadn't played since November 4, missing Buffalo's last five games due to a shoulder injury.

Thomas Vanek, Chris Drury and Ales Kotalik also lit the lamp, and Martin Biron made 34 saves for the Sabres, who have won five of their last six games.

Buffalo expects to have No. 1 goaltender Ryan Miller back in the crease tonight. Miller has missed the last six games while suffering from an abdominal strain.
