(Sports Network) - The Edmonton Oilers hope to halt a four-game slide tonight when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena.

Edmonton is 0-3-1 in its last four, including a 3-0 setback versus Detroit on Wednesday. Henrik Zetterberg scored a shorthanded goal and Dominik Hasek stopped all 16 shots he faced to lift the Red Wings.

The Oilers were outplayed from the start, as Detroit outshot them by a 14-0 margin in the first period. The Red Wings had double-digit shots in each period, totaling 45 for the match.

Edmonton goaltender Dwayne Roloson finished with 42 saves in the defeat.

Oilers head coach Craig MacTavish made his troops pay for their sub-par showing, as they had to practice on Thursday -- which was supposed to be an off-day.

Edmonton, which is 1-5-1 on the road, plays the third portion of a five-game trip tonight and will visit St. Louis on Sunday.
