ATLANTA (AP) - Jon Sim scored on a tip-in with three seconds left in regulation and then scored the winner in a shootout and the Atlanta Thrashers beat the Nashville Predators 4-3 Friday night in a pre-season game.
Slava Kozlov and Sim, the fourth Atlanta shooter, beat Chris Mason in the shootout, while only Paul Kariya was able to score against Fred Brathwaite. Jean-Pierre Dumont had a chance to tie it for Nashville after Sim's goal, but missed.
