I think Rivet isn't the right captain for the Sabres. You guys?
Should Rivet really be the captan of the Sabres?

Rivet is fine.
He takes the young guys under his wing and shows them the ropes, he's got a ton of experience in the NHL and is willing to do anything for his team - he's coming to training camp after having a surgery that was supposed to keep him out for six months. He's not the best player on the Sabres, but he's their best option as Captain.

Even though he was asking me, but I was thinking Pominville,Connolly,or Roy. Myers i think is too young to be a captain and doesn't have much experience.VICE™;598040 said:

I'd give it to Pominville out of the options the Sabres have, but replacing Rivet isn't needed at this time.

Because I don't think he's the right captain material for the Sabres right now. He doesn't even produce (even though he's a defense-men). If there's going to be a captain that's a D-man on the Sabres, i would most likely give it to Myers. He would be the closet one.

:laugh: you think Rivet has leadership? He's a 2nd line pairing Defense-men and he's the captain. I don't think so.
You seem to be confusing position with respect to the team with leadership qualities.
