Another "douche-baggin" article by a douche bag reporter. How does he still have a job and why would sportsnet glorify his idiotic comments.
Wow, Dowbiggin, you must be running pretty dry in your reporting ideas to dig up this gem (/sarcasm)! I guess you're really trying desperately to hold onto your job eh? Garbage writer produces garbage article... Way to go!
Once again, Bruce Knowsnothingagain has shown why he is a total hack. Why this guy still has a job is beyond me. I mean, who in the sports world even talks to this guy? He has to just make things up because no one in their right mind would give him the time of day. Personally, I usually find his columns to make great kindling in the fire pit come summer.
Bruce Dowbiggin should just kill himself and get it over with. He is BY FAR the most brutal judge of character and sports in general. He should really stop writing. Total garbage.
Dowbiggin, have you lost your mind???? How many "contending" teams can afford to take on 7 million in salary without having to drastically shake up their current roster to make room financially, and have no guarantee the team chemistry will work? Maybe Vinny in T-Bay should start looking for a cup contending team to play on too because at his age of "28" this year, the window is closing on him being able to log 30 mins of ice time each game too(sarcasm). Not to mention the Lightening is a lot further from a cup contender that the Flames are.
I seem to recall Ray Bourque having a kick at a Stanley Cup during his days in beantown when they certainly weren't considered a powerhouse in the league.
I leaving Boston (before it actually happened) on Coach's Corner.....out of Macleans mouth, and I quote "that's BRUTAL he's a BRUIN!". True he won a cup in Colorado, but he was riding the coat tales of Burnaby Joe and Co. Going to a contender does not make the Cup a lock......
Give your head a shake! If you printed this article just to get a rise out of Flames fans, it worked! vividly remember Grapes and Ron Maclean talking about the possibility of Bourque
Iggy is far from the twilight of his career, though unlike Bruce Dowbiggin.
who writes this trash??? iggy is still in his prime and is a supremely classy individual. He would not pull a Pronger and bail on his team. Bourque although classy as well was in the very twilight of his career when he made the move, and had no chance at a cup with Boston. Iggy will be 35 at the end of his contract and when the flames haven't come close to the cup finals then maybe he can start to think about leaving and articles like this will have a place.
