Sharks take a tumble
(Sports Network) - This time last week the San Jose Sharks were flying high, but things can change pretty quickly in the NHL.
The Sharks opened the year with wins in six of their first seven games and was tied with Dallas for first place in the Pacific Division.
However, San Jose has dropped three of its last four games and two of three on its current five-game road trip. The Sharks are now third in the Pacific Division -- two points behind Anaheim and Dallas for first place.
The most recent tumble came Thursday evening in Nashville as the Predators earned a 4-3 victory on their home ice.
