(Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks will aim for their fourth consecutive victory this evening, when they welcome the Los Angeles Kings to HP Pavilion in the back end of a home-and-home series.

San Jose earned a win in Tuesday's matchup at Los Angeles. Rookie Joe Pavelski scored twice to lead the Sharks to the 3-1 decision at Staples Center.

Steve Bernier also scored for the Sharks, who have won eight of their last 10 games overall. Evgeni Nabokov made 36 saves in the victory.

Pavelski has seven goals and an assist in 10 games since coming up from the AHL in late November.

The Sharks have 46 points on the year and are eight behind Pacific Division- leading Anaheim.
