(Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks seek their fourth consecutive win tonight when they visit the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Sharks opened a four-game road trip on Tuesday, posting a 2-0 victory in St. Louis. Vesa Toskala made 29 saves to post his second shutout of the season and anchor the win at the Scottrade Center.

Overall, the Sharks have managed back-to-back shutouts, as Evgeni Nabokov blanked the Devils on Saturday night. Nabokov is expected to receive the nod tonight.

Ryane Clowe and Joe Pavelski each had a goal for the Sharks, who have won five of their last seven contests overall.

San Jose was again without injured wingers Jonathan Cheechoo and Milan Michalek, who are both among the team's top five scorers. Cheechoo has missed five games with a leg injury and is day-to-day, while Michalek (arm) is eligible to come off injured reserve today.

The Sharks, who have never posted three straight shutouts as a team, will resume their trek on Saturday in Detroit.

Minnesota, meanwhile, has lost four of its last five games. On Saturday the Wild dropped a 5-3 tilt in Columbus, as Sergei Fedorov scored two goals and added two assists to help the Blue Jackets end an eight-game losing slide.
