(Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators try to get back on track tonight when they visit the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.
Ottawa had a three-game winning streak ended in Saturday's 2-1 loss to host Boston. The setback came after victories over New Jersey and Toronto (twice) that saw the Sens outscore the opposition by a combined tally of 21-5.
On Saturday, Zdeno Chara netted the game-winning goal against his old club with 4:25 left for the Bruins. His marker capped off a two-goal third period for Boston.
Dany Heatley scored the lone goal for the Senators, while Martin Gerber checked in with 30 saves. Heatley's goal was his club-leading seventh of the season.
Chara's tally came on the power play, thus ending the Sens' streak of 35 consecutive penalty kills.
On the injury front, Ottawa's Wade Redden missed the tilt with an undisclosed injury and is questionable for tonight.
The Sens will host Carolina on Saturday.
Montreal, meanwhile, has lost two of its last three games. On Saturday the Habs dropped a 5-4 shootout tilt to visiting Toronto, as Kyle Wellwood scored the winning goal in the seventh round.
