(Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators seek their fourth consecutive win tonight when they visit the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum.

Ottawa has won seven of its last eight games overall. On Saturday, Antoine Vermette scored two goals to help lift the Sens past the Tampa Bay Lightning, 5-2, at Scotiabank Place.

Patrick Eaves, Joe Corvo and Jason Spezza also tallied for the Senators, while Ray Emery improved to 10-4-0 on the season with a 34-save effort.

The Senators won despite being without the services of No. 1 defenseman Wade Redden due to a shoulder injury suffered on Thursday against Florida. Redden is not expected to play tonight, as he did not join the club for the brief two game trip that begins this evening.

Ottawa will visit Washington on Wednesday.

The Islanders, meanwhile, have won their last two games. On Sunday, Viktor Kozlov notched the first four-goal game of his career to help the Isles topple the rival Rangers, 7-4, at Madison Square Garden

Chris Simon had a goal and two assists and Miroslav Satan added a goal and an assist for the Islanders. Goaltender Rick DiPietro finished with 39 saves in the victory.
