(Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators will try to string together consecutive wins for just the second time this season when they welcome the Minnesota Wild to Scotiabank Place tonight.

The Senators, who are in last place in the Northeast Division with 17 points, played the first-place Buffalo Sabres on Saturday and earned a 4-1 victory.

Peter Schaefer and Dany Heatley each tallied a goal and an assist to lead Ottawa to the divisional win at Scotiabank Place. Heatley has nine points (4g, 5a) in his last eight contests.

Antoine Vermette and Chris Phillips also scored goals for the Senators, who tallied three times in the third period to win just their third game over their last 11 contests.

Ray Emery was solid in goal for Ottawa and turned aside 23 shots.

The Senators haven't won back-to-back games since taking three straight from October 21-26.

The Wild have been struggling a bit recently, but are still first in the Northwest Division with 25 points. They lead the second-place Edmonton Oilers by just two points.
