(Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators are running out of time to figure out which direction they want to go this season? Right now, though, things are looking bright in the Canadian capital.

Ottawa, which visits Philadelphia on Wednesday, has won its last two games. On Monday, Peter Schaefer had a goal and an assist to lift the Sens to a 5-3 win over visiting Minnesota.

Andrej Meszaros, Chris Kelly, Chris Neil and Daniel Alfredsson also lit the lamp for Ottawa, which has won three of its last four games overall. Ray Emery finished with 42 saves in the win.

Ottawa held on to victory after letting the Wild back into the match after grabbing a 4-0 lead.

Alfredsson (2g, 4a) and Antoine Vermette (2g, 3a) both check in with five-game point streaks intact.
