SEATTLE (CP) - The Seattle Thunderbirds snapped the 13-game winning streak by the Everett Silvertips with a 4-2 Western Hockey League victory Saturday night.
Seattle used three power play goals in the second period to improve to 9-5-1-5 and drop Everett to 18-2-0-1.
Aaron Gagnon, Jan Eberle and Greg Scott each scored power play goals in the second period for Seattle.
Everett rookie Kyle Beach cut the lead to two with his 11th goal of the season, a power play marker at 3:51 of the third period, but Seattle's Radek Meidl answered with an unassisted goal at 14:46.
