PETERBOROUGH, Ont. (CP) - Scott Cowie broke a 2-2 tie in the second period as Ottawa 67's beat Peterborough Petes 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday.

Cowie, an ex-Pete, also picked up an assist while Brett Liscomb and Thomas Kiriakou scored the other goals for Ottawa (17-16-0-2).

The 67's move into second place in the East Division, six points behind Belleville Bulls.
