Sidney Crosby has emerged as a league leading scoring favorite for the Art Ross trophy. Winning this at age 19 would be unprecedented.

He is the favorite for the scoring race as his competitors Ovechin, Jagr and Martin St. Louis are behind a few points (and have played more games the Crosby) and Pittsburgh has a few games in hand. With Pittsburgh on the playoff bubble Crosby won't be sitting out many more games unless it's a serious injury so Ovechkin and Jagr would have to have to be even better in the remaining games to overtake him.

If he doesn't win the Art Ross scoring leader trophy then he had better win the Hart trophy (mvp) otherwise both trophies will lose credibility.
