(Sports Network) - The Chicago Blackhawks try to rebound from their first loss under new head coach Denis Savard tonight when they invite the Phoenix Coyotes to the United Center.

Chicago won its first three contests under Savard, but dropped a 3-2 shootout tilt in Minnesota on Tuesday. Pierre-Marc Bouchard's showstopping goal in the shootout gave the Wild the home win.

In the sixth round of the shootout, Bouchard skated in on net, slammed on the brakes in front, spun around and slid the puck past the outstretched pad of Nikolai Khabibulin. Chicago's Patrick Sharp had one final chance for his club, but his shot sailed high.

Brandon Bochenski and Bryan Smolinski each tallied a goal in the loss and Khabibulin made 35 saves for the Blackhawks.

On the injury front, the Hawks might welcome winger Martin Havlat back to the lineup tonight. He has been sidelined since October with a sprained right ankle and is questionable for this one. Havlat has posted seven goals and six assists in only seven games this season.

Chicago will visit Minnesota on Saturday.
