Oceanic 5, Sagueneens 2

David Skokan scored the winning goal at 2:03 in the third period Saturday to help the Rimouski Oceanic win for only the second time this month.

Maxime Gratchev assisted on all three of the team's third-period goals to lead the Oceanic over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens 5-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action .

The victory is Rimouski's 10th of the season. The team's last win came on Jan. 7 against the Shawinigan Cataractes.

At Chicoutimi, Que., Yanick Charron and Michael Frolik scored insurance goals in the third period for Rimouski (10-29-6-1), while Louis-Philippe Lachance and Olivier Fortier added second-period goals.

Francis Verreault-Paul and Juraj Mikus replied for the Sagueneens (21-23-4-1).

Tigres 4, Cataractes 1

At Victoriaville, Que., Toby Lafrance scored twice as the Tigres downed Shawinigan.

Adam Ross and Alexandre Labonte added a goal apiece for Victoriaville (28-16-2-1).

Linden Bahm had the only goal for the Cataractes (19-23-2-3).

Titan 7, Screaming Eagles 5

At Bathurst, N.B., Martin Bartos racked up two goals and two assists as the Titan beat Cape Breton.

Thomas Beauregard had two goals and an assist for Acadie-Bathurst (26-19-1-2), while Mathieu Perreault, Dany Masse and Charles Bergeron added one goal each.

Chris Culligan scored twice for the Screaming Eagles (30-15-0-2), while James Sheppard, Luc Bourdon and Robert Slaney had singles.

Rocket 4, Fog Devils 0

At Charlottetown, Antoine Lafleur made 22 saves as the Rocket blanked St. John's.

David Laliberte scored twice for P.E.I. (23-17-1-5), while Guillaume Doucet and Joey Haddad each had one goal.

Ilia Ejov allowed three goals on 14 shots before being replaced by Pierre-Alexandre Marion, who made 23 saves for the Fog Devils (19-25-2-1).

Maineiacs 5, Sea Dogs 2

At Saint John, N.B., Pierre-Luc Faubert had a goal and an assist to lead Lewiston over the Sea Dogs.

Chris Tutalo, Stefan Chaput, Eric Castonguay and Simon Courcelles also scored for the Maineiacs (33-10-1-3).

Bruce Crawford and Keven Guerette-Charland replied for Saint John (14-29-1-1).

Foreurs 8, Halifax 4

At Val-d'Or, Que., Jerome Samson scored twice and added two assists as the Foreurs routed Halifax.

Felix Schutz had two first-period goals for Val-d'Or (30-14-2-2), while Martin Thibeault, Dylan Garrioch, Mathieu Roy and Brad Marchand had one each.

Daniel Smith put away two goals for the Mooseheads (20-23-3-2), while Jean-Sebastien Cote and Bryce Swan added singles.
