Fog Devils 2, Titan 0

Ilia Ejov registered the St. John's Fog Devils' first shutout of the season Saturday.

Ejov stopped 20 shots as the Fog Devils blanked the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 2-0 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The Russian goalie improved his record to 17-22-0-0. It was St. John's second win in a row after edging the Saint John Sea Dogs 5-4 on Friday.

At Bathurst, N.B., Matt Fillier and Mario Kempe scored for St. John's (23-29-2-2).

Brant Miller stopped 33 shots for the Titan (28-24-1-3). Thomas Beauregard, who moved atop the QMJHL scoring race Friday after scoring a goal, was held pointless to relinquish the scoring lead to Baie-Comeau's Francois Bouchard.

Drakkar 5, Huskies 2

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Bouchard had three goals to assume first in the scoring race as Baie-Comeau downed the Huskies. Charles-Antoine Messier and Alexandre Picard-Hooper also scored for the Drakkar (29-18-1-7). Ivan Vishnevskiy and Tyler Whitehead replied for Rouyn-Noranda (28-23-3-4).

Screaming Eagles 5, Tigres 2

At Victoriaville, Que., Robert Slaney scored twice as Cape Breton defeated the Tigres.

James Sheppard had a goal and three assists for the Screaming Eagles (37-17-2-0), while Paul Alexander McIlveen and Chris Culligan added a goal each.

Alexandre Labonte and Kyell Henegan replied for Victoriaville (30-20-2-2).

Rocket 8, Mooseheads 6

At Charlottetown, Marc-Andre Gragnani registered a hat trick as the Rocket beat Halifax.

Geoff Walker scored twice for P.E.I. (30-19-2-5), while Matthew Lachaine, Chad Locke and Guillaume Doucet added a goal apiece.

Ryan Hillier and Garrett Peters both had two goals, while Colby Pridham and Andrew White had one each for Halifax (25-26-3-3).

Wildcats 3, Sea Dogs 2

At Moncton, N.B., Maxime Lincourt's goal two minutes into the third period stood as the winner as the Wildcats edged Saint John.

Murdock MacLellan and Mark Barberio also scored for Moncton (35-19-1-2).

Francois Gauthier and Alex Grant both had third-period power-play goals for the Sea Dogs (15-36-1-2).

Maineiacs 4, Voltigeurs 2

At Lewiston, Maine, Dave Taylor scored the winner as the Maineiacs downed Drummondville.

David Perron, Marc-Andre Cliche and Eric Castonguay added a goal each for Lewiston (37-12-2-4).

Jonathan Duchesneau and Drew Paris replied for the Voltigeurs (25-25-1-3).
