Moncton 5, Acadie-Bathurst 3

One night after scoring his 50th goal of the season, Acadie-Bathurst forward Thomas Beauregard reached another milestone

The leading-scorer in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League scored once Saturday to break the Titan record for goals in a season.

Beauregard's power-play marker capped a three-goal first period for Acadie Bathurst, who went on to lose in the shootout to the Moncton Wildcats.

It was the Titan's third loss in a row as it fell four points behind Moncton for third place in the East Division.

At Moncton, N.B., Matt Marquardt scored the shootout winner as the Wildcats squeaked by Acadie-Bathurst.

Christian Gaudet, Randy Cameron Jason Lepage and Nathan Welton had goals in regulation for Moncton (26-14-0-1).

Mathieu Labrie, Charles Bergeron and Roopertti Martikainen put away goals for the Titan (23-14-1-2).

Sagueneens 3, Oceanic 2 (OT)

At Chicoutimi, Que., David Desharnais scored the overtime winner as the Sagueneens edged Rimouski.

Kirill Tulupov and Francis Verreault-Paul added a goal each for Chicoutimi (19-18-4-1).

Maxime Gratchev and Louis-Philippe Lachance had goals for the Oceanic (8-25-5-1).

Tigres 6, Cataractes 3

At Shawinigan, Que., Toby Lafrance registered a hat trick to lead Victoriaville over the Cataractes.

Morten Madsen, Benoit Doucet and Francis Guerette-Charland also scored for the Tigres (22-16-1-0).

Simon Lacroix, Patrick Bernier and Pierre-Alexandre Vandal replied for Shawinigan (16-18-2-3).

Screaming Eagles 5, Rocket 2

At Charlottetown, Paul Alexander McIlveen scored twice as Cape Breton downed the Rocket.

James Sheppard, Dean Ouellet and Alexandre Quesnel added a goal apiece for the Screaming Eagles (26-12-2-0).

Guillaume Doucet accounted for both of P.E.I.'s (19-15-1-4) goals.

Mooseheads 4, Fog Devils 3 (OT)

At St. John's, N.L., Peter-James Corsi put away the winner 56 seconds into overtime as Halifax beat the Fog Devils.

Ryan Graham, Mario Kempe and Jean-Simon Allard also scored for the Mooseheads (18-17-3-2).

Bryce Swan, Garrett Peters and Logan MacMillan replied for St. John's (16-20-2-1).

Maineiacs 5, Sea Dogs 4

At Saint John, N.B., Chad Denny scored with five seconds remaining to lead Lewiston over the Sea Dogs.

Dave Taylor, David Perron, Chris Tutalo and Eric Castonguay added a goal each for the Maineiacs (28-8-0-3).

Alex Grant and Payton Liske both scored twice for Saint John (10-26-1-1).

Olympiques 1, Voltigeurs 0

At Gatineau, Que., Ryan Miror picked up his third shutout of the season as the Olympiques blanked Drummondville.

Claude Giroux scored the game's lone goal for Gatineau (23-14-2-2).

Pier-Olivier Pelletier stopped 24 shots for the Voltigeurs (18-19-0-3).

Drakkar 6, Remparts 5 (OT)

At Baie-Comeau, Que., Joakim Jensen scored two goals, including the overtime winner, as the Drakkar defeated Quebec.

Francois Bouchard, Charles-Antoine Messier, Pierre-Cedrick Labrie and Jean-Philippe Paquet added a goal each for Baie-Comeau (20-13-1-6).

Brent Aubin had two goals for the Remparts (23-16-1-2), while Christophe Poirier, Kenzie Sheppard and Felix Petit all had one.

Foreurs 6, Huskies 5 (SO)

At Val-d'Or, Que., Sebastien Bisaillon scored the shootout winner as the Foreurs beat Rouyn-Noranda.

Jerme Samson added two goals for Val-d'Or (23-13-2-1), while Maxime Lincourt, Martin Thibeault and Mathieu Roy had one each.

Justin Munden, Dylan Quaile, Francois Champagne, Yannick Riendeau and Michael Dubuc replied for the Huskies (21-15-2-4).
