Screaming Eagles 4, Mooseheads 0

Cape Breton goaltender David Davenport got his second shutout of the season Saturday.

Davenport stopped 24 shots as the Screaming Eagles blanked the Halifax Mooseheads 4-0 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

The Newmarket, Ont., native has 11 wins and six losses this year.

At Halifax, Cam Fergus had a goal and two assists for Cape Breton (24-11-2-0).

Chris Culligan, Paul Alexander McIlveen and Jean-Claude Sawyer added a goal each.

Jeremy Duchesne made 48 saves for the Mooseheads (15-17-3-1).

Titan 5, Sea Dogs 3

At Saint John, N.B., Thomas Beauregard grabbed a hat trick as Acadie Bathurst beat the Sea Dogs.

Samuel Morneau and Justin Vienneau also scored for the Titan (23-12-1-1).

Ryan Sparling, David Stich and Felix Schutz replied for Saint John (10-22-1-1).

Remparts 5, Oceanic 1

At Rimouski, Que., Roman Bashkirov scored twice as Quebec downed the Oceanic.

Felix Petit, Brent Aubin and Andrew Andricopoulos added a goal apiece for the Remparts (22-16-0-1).

Patrice Cormier put away the lone goal for Rimouski (7-23-4-1).

Maineiacs 3, Rouyn-Noranda 2

At Lewiston, Maine, Eric Castonguay scored two goals, including the winner, as the Maineiacs edged Rouyn-Noranda.

Stefano Giliati added a goal for Lewiston (26-7-0-3).

Michael Dubuc and Yannick Riendeau had a goal each for the Huskies (20-14-2-3).
