In goal for loss for the Rockets was Blair Bennett and between the pipes for the Blast win was John Faulkner.

1st Period: Sarnia got on the scoreboard just 10 seconds into the power play on a goal by Kyle Verbeek from Thomas Policelli and Matt Parkes. Shots on goal: Strathroy - 14 Sarnia - 7. The Rockets were 0 for 2 with the man advantage this period while the Blast went 1 for 1 on the power play.

2nd Period: Making it 2-0 for the Blast was Tyler Lewis at the 8:09 mark with helpers from Brad Houston and Chase Langlais. A minute and forty seconds later, Tony Yearego lit the lamp and an assist went to Derek VanVeller. Shots on goal: Strathroy - 15/29 Sarnia - 12/19. The Rockets went 0 for 2 on the power play this period while Sarnia went 0 for 3 with the man advantage.

3rd Period: The Blast opened the scoring this period with a marker by Chase Langlais from Greg Turner at the 2:10 mark. Strathroy made a goaltender change after this goal to Ben Thomas. With the teams playing four a side, Sarnia's Brad Houston lit the lamp at the 5:17 mark with an assist to Matt Parkes. Faulkner's bid for a shutout came to an end with 3:52 remaining when the Rockets scored a 5 on 3 power play marker off the stick of Max Campbell from Joe McDonough and Patrick Easter. Just 20 seconds later, the Rockets went on the power play yet again as Sarnia's Brad Houston was called for cross checking. It led to another power play goal for Strathroy, this one just 15 seconds in and picking up his second of the evening was Max Campbell. Assists went to Zach Hodgins and Patrick Easter. Shots on goal: Strathroy - 13/42 Sarnia - 12/33. Strathroy was 2 for 7 with the man advantage this period and were 2 for 11 in the game. Sarnia was 0 for 2 on the power play this period and were 1 for 6 in the game.

In goal and taking the loss for the Lincolns was Brian Hince and between the pipes for the Blast win was John Faulkner.

1st Period: Sarnia was the first one on the scoreboard, getting a marker by Thom Skalski at the 3:39 mark with an assist to Owen Rogers and Justin Smith. The only penalty taken by the Lincs this period was a roughing minor at 4:25 to James Marsden. It resulted in a power play goal for the Blast at 5:47 off the stick of Chase Langlais from Kyle Gallinger and Matt Abercrombie. Shots on goal: St. Marys - 11 Sarnia 0 6. The Lincs were 0 for 4 with the man advantage this period while Sarnia went 1 for 1.

2nd Period: Sarnia took a three goal lead just 36 seconds into the period on a Brad Houston marker from Tyler Lewis and Chase Langlais. At the 9:59 mark, it was Chase Langlais getting his second of the game and his third in two nights since returning from an injury. Assisting on this goal was Brad Houston and Tyler Lewis. Shots on goal: St. Marys - 12/23 Sarnia - 10/16. Both teams were 0 for 2 with the man advantage this period.

3rd Period: Sarnia's Brad Houston was called for interference at 7:43 and three seconds after his penalty expired, St. Marys got on the score board. Getting the goal was Jordan King from Michael McLaughlin and Justin Salt. Sarnia got themselves into some penalty trouble, taking the next three minors and provided the Lincs with over a minute of five on three play. Although the Blast weathered the penalties, the Lincs managed to get their second and final goal of the game with 1:21 remaining. Scoring that goal was Tyler Royle with assists to Josh Catto and Cam Granger. With about 40 seconds left in the game, St. Marys pulled their goalie for an extra attacker but instead gave up an empty net goal at 19:25 to Kyle Gallinger, unassisted. Shots on goal: St. Marys - 17/40 Sarnia - 3/19. St. Marys was 0 for 5 with the man advantage this period and were 0 for 11 in the game. Sarnia was 0 for 1 on their lone power play this period and were 1 for 4 in the game.
