(Sports Network) - The Eastern Conference-leading Buffalo Sabres hope to head into the All-Star break on a positive note tonight, when they visit the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.

The Sabres have won two straight games, including Friday's shootout victory over visiting Vancouver. Chris Drury scored late in the third period to tie the game and Ales Kotalik tallied the decisive goal in the shootout as Buffalo rallied for the 4-3 victory over the Canucks.

With 39.1 seconds left in the final period and the Sabres trailing 3-2, Buffalo head coach Lindy Ruff pulled netminder Ryan Miller for the extra attacker and the move paid off. Drury won a faceoff at the right circle and then redirected Brian Campbell's shot from the point past Dany Sabourin to tie the game at 3-3.

Jason Pominville finished with a goal and an assist while Miller ended with 25 saves for the Sabres. Miller is headed to this year's All-Star Game as the starting goaltender for the Eastern Conference squad.

The Canadiens are coming off Thursday's victory in Atlanta to snap a three- game losing streak. Cristobal Huet continued his dominance of the Thrashers this season, turning aside 44 shots as Montreal eased past Atlanta, 4-1.

In three games against Atlanta, each of which were Canadien victories, Huet has been stellar, stopping 111-of-115 shots faced.
