SAGINAW, Mich. (CP) - Ryan McDonough racked up a goal and an assist to lead the Saginaw Spirit to a 4-1 victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.
Patrick Asselin, Jan Mursak and Nigel Williams also scored for the Spirit (23-11-0-2), which kept pace with The Plmouth Whalers for first place in the West Division.
Chris MacKinnon put away Sault Ste. Marie's (16-17-0-4) only goal.
