Man you look at some of those names on that roster and it blows your mind that they are knocked out in the quarter finals. Gonna be some GOOD hockey in the semis and finals.

There should be some good hockey. Unless the USA meets Canada in the Finals this is 1b of the most anticipated games of these Olympics. 1a was the pre-scheduled Usa v. Canada game. I heard it got 8.3M homes in the US on a non-HD cable station. Pretty damn good.

I feel sorry for Russia. The Canadian team that rolled out tonight played some of the most complete hockey I have ever seen. From defending to finishing off opportunities, they just did it.

Like I said in another thread, the extra game against Germany may have been the best thing for Canada.

This just goes to show how tough this tournament is. I pity any team in the Russians path in 2014.

IF they can play at that level for a full 60 minutes then only a literal brick wall in th enet will stop them.

Athough I'm pumped, I have to admit, Miller, and Lundqvist, are the types of goalie that can throw up a brick wall in front of the net and stop 40 shots for a shutout.


YA, Id be scared if I were the USA, but knowing I had Miller in net would let me sleep.
