(Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators hope to continue their recent charge tonight when they visit the Vancouver Canucks at GM Place.

Nashville has won two straight and six of its last seven games overall (6-0-1), after losing the first three games of the season. On Saturday, Jason Arnott scored twice in the Predators' 3-2 victory over the Calgary Flames at the Saddledome.

J.P. Dumont also scored and Tomas Vokoun stopped 25 shots for the Predators, who have moved into a first-place tie with Detroit in the Central Division standings.

During their current spurt, the Preds' lone loss came against Vancouver on October 21 at Gaylord Entertainment Center. The Canucks posted a 4-3 overtime decision.

Nashville opened a five-game road trip on Saturday and will visit Edmonton on Wednesday.

Vancouver, meanwhile, has won two straight and four of its last five matches. On Friday, Markus Naslund and Brendan Morrison scored in a shootout as the Canucks edged the Washington Capitals, 3-2, at home.

Jan Bulis and Taylor Pyatt each scored in regulation for the Canucks, while Roberto Luongo stopped 19-of-21 shots.
