WINNIPEG (CP) - Three unanswered goals, including two late in the third period gave the Rochester Americans a 3-2 win over the Manitoba Moose in American Hockey League action Wednesday.

Stefan Meyer led the Amerks rally registering a goal with just under four minutes left in the second period. Drew Stafford tied the game at 4:40 in the third period, then added the assist on the game-winning goal scored by Janis Sprukts with 1:29 left in regulation. Jason Jaffray and Lee Goren each had a goal and an assist for the Moose (10-12-3-2), both scoring goals on the power play.

Yes, I knew that when I left Rochester the Amerks (short for Americans) will still keep on winning 8 years later.
