CRANBROOK, B.C. (CP) - Riley Holzaphel scored two goals and added two assists as the Moose Jaw Warriors broke a seven game losing streak to beat the Kootenay Ice 4-2 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Mike Busto opened the scoring with the Ice on the power play with a shot from the hash marks that beat Warrior starter Kury Jory to put the Ice up 1-0.

The Warriors (6-16-1-0) stormed out of the second period with an early goal by Keith Voyechek with his 5th of the season 44 seconds into the period.

Holzaphel scored the eventual game winner on a nice shot from a bad angle that beat Ice (16-7-1-2) goaltender Taylor Dakers over the shoulder at 4:51.
