Phoenix Coyotes centre Mike Ricci's hockey career isn't done yet.
According to a report in the Arizona Republic, the 35-year old veteran has decided not to retire after the club gave him permission to fly back to Phoenix to discuss his future with his family.
He's been placed on injured reserve until he's fit to play.
Ricci has been battling back from a neck injury suffered in the off-season which caused him to miss all of training camp and the first 17 games of the season. He's only appeared in seven games this season, collecting an assist against the Blues in late November.
