CHILLIWACK, B.C. (CP) - Kruise Reddick made his first WHL goal count.

Reddick scored at 4:49 of overtime to lead the Tri-City Americans to a 4-3 victory over the Chilliwack Bruins in WHL action on Wednesday. With a shootout looming, Reddick drove to the net on a harmless-looking play and somehow banked a backhand shot off Bruins defender Dylan Chapman's skate and past goaltender Alex Archibald. Tri-City's bench erupted and one of Reddick's teammates grabbed the puck as a memento for the 16-year-old rookie.

Michael Kaye, Alex Aldred and Colton Yellow Horn also scored for Tri-City (11-5-0-0), which has won two straight games after losing three in a row. The victory was the 301st for Americans coach Don Nachbaur. He earned No. 300 in a victory over Seattle on Sunday.

Ken Petkau, Dillon Johnstone and Craig Lineker replied for Chilliwack (5-12-2-0), which has lost two games in a row after winning three straight. Mark Santorelli, the reigning WHL player of the week, notched two assists. He has 16 points in his past eight games.

Linemate Oscar Moller added an assist to extend his points streak to eight games (seven goals, seven assists).

The teams were tied 1-1 after one period and 2-2 after two.
