DETROIT (AP) - Dominik Hasek made 32 saves and Johan Franzen had a goal and an assist to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday night.

yup the wings are having an all round good season, its good to see them back to their winning ways. Still needs lots of improvements and tweaks here and there.

But remember, detroit didnt win a stanley cup in '97 with an all star lineup, '98 wasnt perfect, and 2002 well, that was just an all star cast.. it was holland and illitches last chance and last dance to spend the big bucks... 288 million dollars if i remember correctly, all combine salary.
