Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Henrik Zetterberg scored two goals and added a pair of assists as the Detroit Red Wings held on to defeat the Calgary Flames, 7-4 at Joe Louis Arena.

Mathieu Schneider, Jason Williams and Tomas Holmstrom each had a goal and an assist for the Red Wings, who have won six of their last seven games and 12 straight contests on home ice.

Pavel Datsyuk and Johan Franzen also tallied goals for Detroit, which will travel to Philadelphia to play the Flyers on Monday night.

Rookie goaltender, Joey MacDonald stopped 16-of-20 shots to earn his first NHL victory.

Roman Hamrlik had a goal and an assist for the Flames, who have dropped four in a row and will host the Atlanta Thrashers on Tuesday night.

Alex Tanguay, Jeff Friesen and Mark Giordano each had a goal in defeat for Calgary.

Miikka Kiprusoff allowed three goals on 14 shots in the first period before being pulled in favor of Jamie McLennan. McLennan gave up four goals on 36 shots.

"We didn't come out and compete the way we wanted to," McLennan said. "We left Miikka high and dry there. It's a situation where we knew what Detroit was all about and they executed and did the job. They outplayed us for the full 60 minutes."
