EVERETT, Wash. (CP) - Leland Irving made 20 saves for his league-leading fourth shutout as the Everett Silvertips downed the Spokane Chiefs 3-0 Wednesday in the WHL.

Irving, 17, helped kill off seven Spokane power-plays to improve to 9-1-1 on the season. It was his 10th career shutout. Brandon Campos, Kyle Beach and Jason Fransoo supplied the offence for Everett (10-1-0-1), which won its fifth straight. The Silvertips have allowed a league-low 16 goals on the season.
