First of all sorry for putting this here but i want everyone to hear about this...
This is my brothers new favourite article if you dont wanna read it then ill give you a summary: My brother John Faulkner plays WOHL junior b and is the starting goalie, On the 16th of december he recorded a 5-0 shutout. He came home he said he was very tired. They had a game the next day in st thomas and all was normal the blast were up 4-2 with 2 minutes left and Sarnia got a penalty. St Thomas pulled there goalie to make it 6-4. They dumped the puck in My brother the goalie got it shot in down the middle of the ice and got a shorthanded goal. Hes the only junior b goalie to score since 1976, and hes the only junior b goalie to score a shorthanded goal.

1st Period: Sarnia enjoyed a two man advantage but got on the board while enjoying just the single man advantage with a Kyle Verbeek power play goal at the 11:57 mark. Assists went to Brad Houston and Wayd Pitfield. The Stars notched the game at one each with 1:27 left on a Benedek goal from Gillies and Rioux. Shots on goal: St. Thomas - 12 Sarnia - 15. St. Thomas was 0 for 1 with the man advantage while Sarnia went 1 for 3.

The Stars tied the game up at the 5:52 mark on a goal by Hutchinson from Suhanji and Hylands. Rioux of the Stars went off for boarding at the 8:02 mark and it resulted in a Blast power play goal just 25 seconds later. Scoring the goal was Brad Houston with helpers to Kyle Verbeek and Matt Parkes. Sarnia took a two goal lead with a marker off the stick of Tyler Lewis from Matt Abercrombie and Tony Yearego . The last penalty called was boarding at 17:18 to Sarnia's Thomas Policelli. While enjoying the man advantage, the Stars pulled their tender for a 6th skater in an attempt to get a goal. The last goal was scored 59 seconds later -- a short-handed marker into the Stars empty net by JOHN FAULKNER resulting in his being selected as the first star of the game, for the second game in a row.
