(Sports Network) - A pair of struggling clubs get together tonight at Madison Square Garden, as the New York Rangers welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins to town.

The Rangers have dropped four straight games, but only the most recent of those setbacks came in regulation. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, is 0-3-0 in its last three contests and has lost six of its last seven games.

The Blueshirts dropped a 7-4 decision to the visiting New York Islanders on Sunday night. Viktor Kozlov notched the first four-goal game of his career to help the Isles beat their city rivals at MSG.

Brendan Shanahan notched a hat trick, the 18th of his career, and Jaromir Jagr added a goal for the Rangers.

Henrik Lundqvist started in net for the Rangers, but was pulled after the first period as he allowed four goals on eight shots. Kevin Weekes finished the game between the pipes and stopped 10-of-13 shots.

This should be one of the games of the night. The Rangers are a very talented team up front... almost scary good.

The Penguins have Malkin and Crosby, who are both showing signs of things to come this year (and crosby last year).

If both Fleury and Lundqvist have a strong game tonight, it should be a beauty.
