EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - Blair Betts triggered New York's three-goal outburst in the first period, and the Rangers beat the New Jersey Devils 3-1 Tuesday night in an exhibition game.
Betts, Adam Hall and Brandon Dubinsky scored in a span of 4:16 against Martin Brodeur, last season's runner-up for the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goalie.
