BOUCHERVILLE, Que. (CP) - Cape Breton Screaming Eagles forward Paul Alexander McIlveen is the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's offensive player of the week, while Victoriaville Tigres goaltender Kevin Poulin is the week's top defensive player.

McIlveen had five goals and an assist over two games last week. He scored once in each period in Cape Breton's 6-4 win over Gatineau last Wednesday, and had two goals and an assist in a 4-2 win over Moncton on Friday.

Poulin earned two road wins last week, with a 1.12 goals-against average and a .969 save percentage. He made 20 saves in 43 minutes in a 5-1 win over Shawinigan last Tuesday, and followed that by backstopping the Tigres to a 3-2 shootout win over Quebec on Friday.
