KELOWNA, B.C. (CP) - Logan Pyett scored the game-winning goal, a power-play marker midway through the second period, as the Regina Pats beat the Kelowna Rockets 3-1 in Western Hockey League action Friday.

Brett Leffler, who opened the scoring, and Levi Lind, who closed it with an empty-net goal, also scored for Regina (12-12-1-1), which snapped a three-game losing streak.

Kelowna captain Chris Ray, with his sixth goal of the season, replied for Kelowna (8-14-1-2), which trailed 2-1 after two periods following a scoreless first.
