KENNEWICK, Wash. (CP) - Jusso Puustinen scored a pair of goals and Dustin Butler made 24 saves to lead the Kamloops Blazers to a 4-2 Western Hockey League victory Wednesday over the Tri-City Americans.
Trailing 3-1 late, the Americans narrowed the gap on a goal by Joel Broda with 2:20 left in regulation. An empty-net goal by Ray Macias with eight seconds remaining put the game away for Kamloops. Brock Nixon had the other goal for the Blazers (4-8-0-2).
