With Team Canada's first game at the 2007 IIHF World Junior Championship two days away, coach Craig Hartsburg announced that Carey Price will start in net.

Canada will face host Sweden, Tuesday December 26th at 12:30pm et/9:30am pt. The game can be seen live on TSN and TSN Broadband.

Price, who plays with the Tri-City Americans in the WHL was the Montreal Canadiens first round pick in 2005.

At practice on Sunday, Canada winger Sam Gagner was moved to the second line, replacing Dan Bertram alongside Ryan O'Marra and Jonathan Toews.

The first line at practice was Andrew Cogliano skating between Brad Marchand and Steve Downie. The third line was James Neal, Tom Pyatt and Bryan Little.

Bertram skated with Marc-Andre Cliche and Darren Helm on the fourth line. Kenndal McArdle was the extra skater.

On defence, the pairings were Marc Staal with Ryan Parent, Kris Russell with Kristopher Letang, and Kris Russell with Cody Franson. Karl Alzner was the spare blueliner.

On Friday, Canada blew a two-goal lead in a exhibition loss to Sweden, dropping the game 3-2.

"We need to be better," coach Hartsburg said after the loss. "We need to play our game.

"In this one, we got off track. We took too many penalties. We got a little sloppy at times. The big thing is, we have to get everybody on the same page."

As the game ended, Downie, the forward from the OHL's Peterborough Petes who has paid in the past for losing his temper, got a double minor and a 10-minute misconduct for butt-ending. He'd been given a 10-minute misconduct in the first period for arguing an interference penalty.
