(Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators, who had high expectations heading into the season, try to build on their first win tonight when they visit the New York Islanders in the opener of a three-game trip at Nassau Coliseum.

On Saturday, Paul Kariya and Scott Hartnell each posted a goal and an assist, as Nashville notched a 4-1 victory over Phoenix at Gaylord Entertainment Center.

Jason Arnott registered three assists and Tomas Vokoun made 29 saves for the Predators, who lost their first three games of the season before Saturday's victory.

The Preds had fallen to Chicago twice, and Minnesota once.

Arnott, who signed with the Predators over the summer, is tied with Steve Sullivan for the club's scoring lead at five points (1g, 4a)

Nashville will visit the Rangers on Wednesday before completing its metro area trek against New Jersey the following night.

The Islanders, meanwhile, have won two straight after dropping their first three tilts. On Saturday, Jason Blake scored two goals and Mike Dunham stopped 31 shots as the New York Islanders won their home opener, 4-3, over the Boston Bruins.
