(Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators are still in search of their first win of the season and will host the Phoenix Coyotes this evening at Gaylord Entertainment Center.
Nashville has big hopes for this season but has lost all three games so far. It opened with a loss to Chicago, then dropped decisions to Buffalo and the Blackhawks again.
On Thursday Chicago posted a 3-1 win. Jason Arnott scored the lone goal for the Predators, while backup goaltender Chris Mason finished with 28 saves. Steve Sullivan leads the Predators with five points and two goals.
After Nashville hosts the Coyotes, it will take a trip to the east coast with stops at the Islanders, Rangers and Devils.
Phoenix, meanwhile, has lost three in a row after recording a season-opening 6-3 win over the Islanders. In their last game on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings, the Coyotes suffered a 9-2 drubbing at Joe Louis Arena.
