(Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks will have their sights set on a 3-1 series' lead this evening, when they host the Nashville Predators in Game 4 of the best-of-seven Western Conference quarterfinals.

After splitting the first two games of this set in Nashville, the fifth-seeded Sharks grabbed a two games to one lead with Monday's victory at HP Pavilion.

Ryane Clowe scored the eventual game-winning goal in the second period of Game 3 as San Jose defeated the Predators, 3-1.

Milan Michalek and Patrick Marleau also scored for the Sharks and Evgeni Nabokov finished with 19 saves in the win.

Marleau, the Sharks captain, is leading by example in this series with one goal and three assists in the first three games. Marleau and defenseman Craig Rivet are tied for the club lead in the series with four points apiece.
