(Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators will shoot for their fifth consecutive victory tonight, when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center.

The Predators were last in action on Sunday and earned an overtime victory in St. Louis. Dan Hamhuis' goal late in the third period tied the game and Kimmo Timonen scored the game-winner in the extra session as Nashville rallied to beat the Blues, 2-1.

The Blues held a 1-0 lead for most of the contest, but with 4:19 left in the third period, Hamhuis redirected David Legwand's shot from the right point past Manny Legace to tie the game at 1-1.

In the extra session, Keith Tkachuk was whistled for high-sticking and the Predators were able to take advantage. Paul Kariya found Timonen at the left circle and his slap shot beat Legace stick-side for the game-winner.

The Predators swept a home-and-home set with the struggling Blues, having rallied from an early two-goal deficit to beat St. Louis 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday at Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville.

Netminder Chris Mason finished with 22 saves for the Predators, who hold a five-point edge over Detroit for the Central Division lead.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks can even their season-best three-game winning streak with a victory tonight. Chicago won in Columbus on Saturday and beat the visiting Colorado Avalanche the following night.
