Hi All,
We were up north and was able to have my kid do a Bauer scan this weekend and ended up getting her new skates. Well first practice yesterday she was struggling and complained about being able to stop and turn well. The only noticeable difference in the skate that we can see is the blade. The old skate had S. Stainless and the new one had LS Balance 13ft. She's been in the old skates for about a year so I would think that a change would initially be tough either way.
Haven't taken them over to the skate shop yet for them to look at them but wanted to get some options before we go. Don't want to go in and have them suggest we throw money at something that potentially won't give us a fix.
