PRINCETON, N.J. (CP) - Phoenix Roadrunners defenceman Dave Pszenyczny was fined by the ECHL on Friday for a spearing incident earlier this week.

The 21-year-old was fined an undisclosed amount for spearing an Idaho player in a game on Wednesday.

Pszenyczny, who played for Sarnia, Mississauga and Barrie in the Ontario Hockey League, started the season with the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.
