Three second-period goals proved to be enough as the visiting Philadelphia Phantoms defeated Rochester by a score of 3-2 at Blue Cross Arena.

Pete Zingoni, Eric Meloche and Darren Reid provided the scoring as eight different players recorded points on the night for the Phantoms, who has earned eight out of a possible 12 points in their last six games, going 3-1-0-2.

Netminder Martin Houle stopped 26 of 28 shots to earn his seventh win of the year for Philadelphia.

Drew Stafford and Anthony Stewart both registered goals for Rochester, who has dropped its last three games.
