SAGINAW, Mich. (CP) - Newly acquired goaltender Marc-Andre Perron from the QMJHL Lewiston Maineiacs stopped 37 shots in his Ontario Hockey League debut and was the No. 1 star as the Saginaw Spirit beat the Kitchener Rangers 4-1 Saturday.

Ryan McDonough scored in the first period for the Spirit, along with Tom Craig, who put away what proved to be the winner with 5 seconds left in the period.
