The Rivermen scored the first three goals on the night, which proved to be enough in their 4-2 win over the visiting Marlies at Carver Arena.

Jon DiSalvatore, Michal Birner, Cam Keith and Konstantin Zakharov all recorded goals, while Charles Linglet had two assists on the night for Peoria, who won its third straight game at home.

Curtis Sanford stopped 23 of 25 shots for his first win in just his second start for the Rivermen this season.

John Mitchell and Erik Westrum, who is representing the hometown Marlies in the All-Star Classic, both tallied for Toronto in the loss.
